During the 15 years or so that I have enjoyed a flutter on various sports in both the High Street bookmaker and sat on my chair at home on my computer I have found many pros and cons regarding Internet betting.
The major benefit to being at home rather than in a shop has to be the unlimited access to many different betting sites and the many prices that are available on each race rather than just the one offered in the shop that you have to go with.
Another major help to being at home rather than being in a shop is not having to huddle around a piece of paper stuck to a wall trying to focus on the next race and the form of the horses in it but you always end up having to quickly make your choice and so often lose your money because you have not properly studied the form of the runners and riders. At home you have so many sites that give out form and tips for all the upcoming races making it a lot easier to make up your mind as to who you will choose for each race.
The Cons to betting at home if you can call it that has to be the atmosphere that generates from being in a shop when you and a couple of mates back a winner, which is a great feeling but sometimes this can also be a bad thing if you end up losing a lot because at home at least you can bank when you want.
